It’s that
time again: The NHMC AGM is around the corner.
The NHMC,
AGM is scheduled for the 3rd of May 2009 at 11am
This year
the committee is streamlining the way payments & voting are
carried out, the committee will not accept any payment for
club fees on the day of the AGM. Your club fees will need to be paid in
advance, or after the AGM, this should speed up the formalities on the day
& leave more time to do what we do best.: socialise,
Fly Heli’s & have fun in the process.
The 09/10
membership forms will be posted to you in a day or so, if you require a proxy
voting form they will be sent on request. To be eligible to vote at the AGM the
secretary requires your payment & membership form one week prior to the
date set for the AGM, proxy votes are two weeks prior, otherwise you won’t be
eligible to vote.
Nominations for positions on the committee.
Please send
your nomination to the secretary in writing & by post, nomination must be
received two weeks prior to the AGM. If you feel you have what it takes to
maintain a high level of commitment, contribute ideas & be a team player to
a dedicated panel of enthusiasts focused on running a safe environment for all Heli pilots.
Below is a
list of present committee, The present NHMC members are

performance.
The
existing committee has turned NHMC around from its falling membership six years
ago to a record number today. The committee contributes it to its positive
attitude & direction, showing it can handle negative times as well as
positive times ….. in times of global recession
the club membership has increased, the club finances are healthy. The
current committee & members has broken all records for attendance for its
Ross Harvey 3D event, Mid winter feast & let’s not forget our Xmas parties,
to name a few. The committee stood up for what it believed to be a major issues
on “safety” set the bench mark on safety rules for other clubs to follow. The
existing committee believes that all club Heli events
should be free to club members (or at least value for money!)
With a
combination of our training schedule for newcomers & the ability to help
others, plus maintain the ambiance not found in other clubs, its your time to support us the
committee and have your say.
Please
note: on the day of the AGM a BBQ lunch will be provided around 1ish..
