With
weather forecasters predicting light winds, some fog in low lying areas,
bright sunlight most of the day (not bad for the start of winter) with that
in mind the atmosphere

to make sure the heli pad was clear of debris for the full size heli to land, (Clayton
at the controls) yes: the committee organised a full size Helicopter to
arrive early morning to take our special guest ( Land owner & Farm
manager) for a scenic
ride around the surrounding area. The flight was scheduled for around 1ish
which gave the committee time to conduct the club’s AGM plus provide a (Free)
BBQ lunch for all
NHMC club members attending. A special bonus: we offered our southern
members, a Free return trip by Helicopter to our NHMC Kumeu flying site if
they made their way to
Ardmore Airport by 9am Sunday morning (that put a smile on their faces J!!) This
year’s AGM saw the existing committee stand for another year with the addition
