Taken from us
tragically (due to an air accident), was a great
helicopter pilot, father, husband, businessman,
friend and leader.
Ross started
aviating at a very early age and became a legend in
New Zealand and overseas, setting very high standards
in his work as a Commercial Helicopter Pilot. He
logged many hours over the streets of Auckland City
on Police Eagle patrol and Westpac Air Ambulance
services.
Many people will
remember Ross for his vibrant personality. A person
with a smile that was so contagious. Ross touched so
many peoples lives and gave so much of himself to
others.
Ross was our club
President and our close friend. No more talking 'till
1 o'clock in the morning Ross. No more secret
rendezvous in the Eagle, but worst of all, no more
you. You were tragically taken from us while doing
what you loved.
We send our love to
Judy, Sarah, and Racheal. Your husband and father was
an inspiration to us all.
He is now, and
forever, flying high, and if we can touch someone's
life the way Ross touched ours, we will be truly
blessed.
Never forgotten,
our memories are what will carry us through, and we
can all hold on to the special memories and times we
have shared with Ross.
Goodbye
Ross. You will be in our hearts forever.
